It's Not going to happen.
I can list a million reason why they won't fit so I'll just leave it at that.

HBjet Other than semi wheels are 10 lug? Or that the stud piloted holes are too large a diameter? Hub piloted wheels won't work either, the center piloting hole is too large. Should we discuss unsprung weight or the mass and cost of a 22.5 on highway tread? How about the lug area being 1" thick?
He asked about 22.5 semi wheels. They won't work. Alcoa has been making smaller diameter wheels for years. I'm fairly sure they make a 20" that will fit and I know for a fact that they've been making 16" wheels for decades. They also make a 19.5" now that I think about it. He really doesn't want the upkeep issues with semi wheels anyways. True alcoa's that come on tractor trailers don't have a clear coat on them. If you want to keep the shine you have to polish them weekly.

Ok, I just looked at that chromewheel.com link and some genius there built an adapter.
Knock yourself out. I wouldn't think the extra stress on my suspension and the poor ride quality of the stiffer sidewalls was worth it. I'd get the 19.5"'ers that are made for light/med duty trucks and call it good rather than adapt something that was never meant for the application.

Won't work??? The reason I asked is because I have seen about 5 3500HD's sittin on the 22.5" Alcoa rims with lift kits and they look ****ing sweet....

I have 22.5's freightliners on my 2003 3500HD Chevy Dually. Just buy the 8 into 10 lug adapters and your "in". You can also put on 24.5's but you need a decent lift.
<-- Or just buy a Semi in addition like I did :p

some guy has them on a new Dodge dually around here, looks silly, stick out way too far, and had to have some cheezy adaptor made.

LOL [/QB]Sorry, I only need to customize the tail lights, thats all you'll ever see of my ride.
And you can LOL all you want, I'm still the smart one for leaving So Cal after 24 years of living there.
