Congrats Craig! I can tell she really wants a 22' Daytona to go to the river in, and now that Jen has delivered, I think you need to bring home the Daytona!
Again, Congrats you two...

Way to go Thor! Congrats. Kids are a lot of fun. A lot of work, but a lot of fun.
Coolest thing is when you are laying back on the couch and she falls asleep laying on your chest. You are going to love it!
But be ready for lack of sleep...

And you thought the double posts were bad! Having tried for over three years to have my own, I can appreciate your feelings of overwhelming joy and happiness. Congrats to you and the mrs. hopefully this one was the hardest and the next will be easier. Cherish her like gold for they grow so fast. I feel like mine was born yesterday and in Dec. he will be 10. Take lots of pics because in a month it will be hard to remember how small she was on the day she was born.

Congrats on the new family!
We too ran into unforeseen and unexplained problems when trying to have a baby (married for 12 years, started trying at 7). Just when we gave up…we were blessed with a sweet little baby girl born 3/15/03. So we can relate first-hand to the ups and downs you must have experienced in getting this far.
Happy to report that at 5 months, our baby girl was all smiles at Havasu this past weekend!
I can’t think of any better feeling in the world…when I see my little sweetie, all sprawled out, sleeping soundly next to my wife at night. It’s just incredible :)
What’s with all the little ***boat girls…I know Nextasex just had himself a little hottie too.
Congrats again!

Congrats again! How did your little girl do at the river at 5 months old? Does your wife hold her while riding?

Awwww! Congratulations to you and your wife Thor!
Taylor Ann is beautiful! :) Babies really are as special as everyone says, you love your children no matter what age they are but they are babies for such a short time and every moment is so precious. Sometimes learning the ropes clouds how sweet a time it is ... capture her babyhood on film and in journals ... I've never heard anyone regret taking too many pictures of their child as a baby. wink Much happiness wished for you and yours. :)

How did your little girl do at the river at 5 months old? Does your wife hold her while riding? Yes, my wife holds her when under power. We also have a vest for her that is kinda large, but mostly my wife holds the baby to her chest and she has been fine. Granted, I drive more cautiously, in fact I never realized how smooth of a ride I can pull off when I actually drive the damn boat instead of burying the throttle and letting the hull do the work. At midrange the baby is all smiles; when I open it up she actually falls asleep.
We were mostly worried about the heat…it was 113-115 that weekend, but she did fine. We’ve had her out to Elsinore a few times and in the pool quite a bit, so I think she is pretty comfortable with the new settings.
I was pretty stoked the first time I came up on plane, looked over and saw her smiling. :)
