Dirt bike races. WORCS series. I dont have any other details other than it is at Crazy horse. I have not followed this series at all but know that it is like a long motocross type race or GP. 3 mile loop or something like that. Should have a few pros that are well known. Mike Kiedrowski raced the series last year, but I dont know about this one.
Plus my friends are gonna die. We think it is hot at 70.

Kokomos is located behind the London Bridge Resort, which is all located near the bridge. It is the only legitimate club in Havasu, unless you wanna go to some bar or something. All the hotties will be there, and usually everyone starts showing up around 10 or so. By the way if you live in California and you are trying to make Kokomos on Friday night, u will be a hour behind Arizona. They do not observe daylight savings time.

Went for a ride to the sand bar on Sunday. Water depth was fine if you stay in the main chanel.
There was just enough sand out of the water to hang out on the sand bar.

Was at Havasu last weeekend fixin' up the new house...Kokomo's was still in prep mode, lots of fresh paint on the railings and stuff. The Channel and Canyon were cool until the rain started, but it was fun none the less. Sunday afternoon in Parker was nice, but rained again at night...hopefully better luck in two weeks.
Did anyone get the 411 on the attack Apache's going to town over Thompson Bay on Saturday afternoon? It was a pretty cool aerial attack...figured there were some terroist on the water. :)

:confused: That's right, at around 05:00pm as we were getting ready to get off the lake they were hovering and performing some moves right over the bay, and then they went down to Copper Canyon...they were just above the water a couple of times..
Price of Real Estate in Havasu is still skyrocketing...no effect there from the recession
Also, OOFatso, I think I saw you heading out of Thompsons Bay around 02:30ish....I tried to whistle and wave, but I don't think you recognized my boat...you have a 29 Essex right?

No kidding! I can't believe how easy this process has been so far. Escrow should be closing in about three weeks. We bought a 1992 2B/2B home off of Oro Grande in a very clean, quiet neighborhood. We were also looking a couple of years ago and could kick ourselves for not buying sooner... But better late than never!! I can't wait to call the hotel we always go to and cancel those $250 a night reservations we have made for the whole summer!! yuk
We got our loan through BofA in Santa Monica and the loan agent did four loans last month for 4 friends that all bought homes in Lake Havasu. We feel it's a great investment, and we don't have to drag the boat back and forth. Let us know next time your in town!! Irene

The Channel and Canyon were cool until the rain started, but it was fun none the less. Sunday afternoon in Parker was nice, but rained again at night...hopefully better luck in two weeks.
Did anyone get the 411 on the attack Apache's going to town over Thompson Bay on Saturday afternoon? It was a pretty cool aerial attack...figured there were some terroist on the water. :) That was bitchin' The only thing comparable I've ever seen are were two F-16 in Blythe - about 300 ft above the river. the Apache's were an amazing sight though
