Where is the best place to buy a wake tower? It seems like I saw one around here somewhere for about 200.00. My buddy said thats to cheap, but if there is one at that price he wants it.

More like $2000.00 for a nice one... Use the power of www.google.com (http://www.google.com) to find what you're looking for.

I got mine in Houston. Had to tow my bowrider down there, but it is the best custom tower I have seen. Bring a tub of cash, it cost about $2,700.00. If it's a tournament boat there are lots of places you can get one for around $1,500.00.

There are a lot of people making these things.
You can try Overton's, Ski Limited, Barts,or anyone who sells tournament boats should be able to hook you up. A word of warning, when you get one of these things, you get what you pay for (if your're lucky). :D

By far, the best to get is Air Tower. Ron and Denise put out a good product, and will custom make it to your boat. They're located in Canyon Lake, down by Temecula. You can drop the boat off and pick it up a few days later with a primo tower, made to your specs, fitted perfectly, and color matched to your boat.

The Air Tower is actually a universal tower, but it is very nice. It will fit any boat.
They can ship it to you with fairly easy-to-follow instructions.
They are about $1,700 plus shipping:

They made a couple of custom ones for us, so we could mount the cop stuff (lights, siren, antenna, etc.) on our 20' Sea Doo boats.

They'll also add speaker mounts, board racks, etc. if you want.

Holy crap, I have been on medication......I guess I saw 2000.00 and thought 200.00 for a wake tower good deal. Well if anybody can find one for 200.00 I am all over it! Thanks guys.

Isn't Sea Doo Boats an oxymoron? J/K!!
Alan, you probably get a bunch of heckling until the little ticket book comes out. Atleast you did not spend your own money on a Sea Doo Boat. They may be great boats, but it is going to take a few years to change the stigma that goes along with Sea Doo Boats. Let's just say your ahead of your time!
Towers look good!

my favorite towers are Phat Tower (Extreme Phat Tower) and the Swoop by Skylon. Pick up wakeboarding magazine and you will find a ton of tower mfg's there. Phat Tower is in Corona, CA. If you do not have a tournament boat, then they would have to custom fit it to your boat.
Skylon's Swoop is only for OEM's. If you do not have a boat they currently make a tower for, then they are not an option.

Do you guys know of anybody that has bought the towers just so they can add more speakers for the system to pump out? If so, don't you think the cheaper tower would do the job? Just wondering because that may be one avenue for me to take. This year I almost bought a bigger boat and I have a serious sub/amp/speaker setup that would have fit nicely in the new boat but is too much for my exsisting 23 footer. Any input is appreciated.
