Anybody have any experience with aftermarket Projector Headlights? I bought a set (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00-01-02-05-GMC-SIERRA-HALO-HEADLIGHTS-SIGNAL-LENS_W0QQitemZ8048809851QQcategoryZ33710QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem) off of EBAY but the came with no instructions. There is a set a yellow and black wires coming from the back which are for the Halo Rings and LED lights but I am not sure where to wire them in. Wire them with the Low beams? High beams? Parking lights? The company is closed till monday I cant call them till then.
Thanks for any help

If you are talking about the off road style lights its pretty easy. One wire goes strait to ground and one to whatever posative source you want. I ran mine to a relay and then to there own seperate switch. The only thing I wonder about hooking them into the power for the high beams is it might be a little too much power to try and draw through the fuse.

No, not off road style. Click on the word "set" in the first post and it will link you over to the lights in question.

Ok I fully understand that the black is for the ground and the yellow id the hot wire but my question is what is the common practice for the halo rings? Are they on while low beams on? Are they on while High beams are on or both. The bad thing about puting with the parking lights is that the 2005 GMC parking lights are also the blinkers. I am leaning toward putting the Halo Rings with both the High and Low so that each one will only be on while that bulb light is on. Was Just wandering what the standard application was. Do all projector lights have halo rings?

They are extra, so wire them to whatever you want. A toggle switch if you want. Or, just to ignition for daytime running lamps.
