Yet another thread...I just wanted to throw my thanks out to everyone that I met, saw, stole a beer from, jumped on their boat completely soaked, etc. etc...we had a really good time! Thanks again to the OP6 planning boyz, I think you guys hooked something up that rivals alot of big events and made it really cool! Big thanks for the award plaque and cooler, which the contents didn't make it too far back to the channel! I will not remember this event for a long time....hehehehe

We saw that you were dead in the water, so we slowed down to give you a tow...
...then we realized that you were going full speed.
BTW...you may need to step up that system next year, too. It was closer than I thought it would be.

Now as far as steping it up...how many speakers exactly should I put right next to each other in a line to get the most quality sound? idea

Here's how I saw it:
SQ- Scotty-too-Hotty
Install- Cole Caine
Db- Cole Caine
However, Scotty got extra points for having the correct boat model number on the side (with no modifications)....
He may be ditching those Sony subs...then you may have to dump another 10 grand or so to keep up...
al cole'holic:
...how many speakers exactly should I put right next to each other in a line to get the most quality sound? It's not how many...but how you use them. Next time you're out there, have a seat in the ole HH Tugboat...I think you'll be suprised at what a couple speakers and a couple grand will get you.
BTW...in the "dollar per Db" category...I'd say Slick beat both of you..."Money Shot" was sounding very nice.

Luckily there was another jackoff that had a problem with the the model number of the ColeCaine, but there just happened to be a measuring tape close at hand...needless to say he sat down and shut the **** up pretty swift like.. :p
"Dollar per Db" unfortunately I would admit I may have topped the charts on that one... :D

...but there just happened to be a measuring tape close at hand...Hey...I thought you posted that the Battery Barge was a 28'...my bad.
You know...that gives me a good idea. I'll grab a 2" x 4", some duct tape, a tape measure, and a hefty marker...BAM...the HH Tugboat will be a 30SS too!
Naw...maybe not. I'm secure enough in my manhood to know that it's not the size on the side that matters...

I guess you could say it was my only chance to "lurk" unnoticed.

What boat were you in?I was in the DCB 28' Extreme with the yellow stripe (and pro-stock scoop)...we were only there a couple hours.
Looks like 7/19 is going to be my next trip. You gonna be out there?

I only saw that 28Extreme...about 20-25 times during the course of the weekend :D
The last time was Sat.evening coming back from op-6.
We hit the bouy's at Thompson bay,and cruised into the channel alongside of you guys...we were staring because one of the guy's on my boat thought that was the Leopard Lounge boat...

BTW...Leopard Lounge is now "Trash Out" (referring to the divorce)...

Here's how I saw it:
SQ- Scotty-too-Hotty
Install- Cole Caine
Db- Cole CaineYup, I'd have to agree with ya there. I think El Chingon's tunes are smack dab in the middle of these two, but Cole Cain still had the edge on overall DB and install.
Havasu Hangin':
BTW...in the "dollar per Db" category...I'd say Slick beat both of you..."Money Shot" was sounding very nice. I never got to hear Slick's boat  Whipped Caliber said that thing sounded sweet. I heard he didn't even have all of is amps hooked up either. Everytime I started to make my way over there someone would hand me a beer. :p
If the HH Tugboat's tunes were in the running, where would it have placed?

If the HH Tugboat's tunes were in the running, where would it have placed? I think it would've surprised a few people. My old school install from "Wired for HH" even surprised me a little....
...of course, the sound always seems to get better with the more beers I consume.
