View Full Version : How Many Times Did You Make It To The Water Last Summer?

O.K. The Summer Boating Season Is Over (for some the whole season) Its now Fall! How many trips to the Water did you make? I made 10 Trips, First Trip Ignition Trouble :mad: , The rest no Trouble, and last trip a small carb. Fire eek! (it extinguished sp? itself) Hope to make 2 more trips before the Plastic tarp goes on :cool:

Thats BANNER with an H What do you mean over? All my friends are down in Knights Landing as we speak. They usually don't stop until the first of Nov.
This year for me.....not many. Last year was almost every sunday.

24 visits this summer but hell oct.& nov. are some of the best months.Plus winter boating is great at havasu big bon fires at night and beer perfect, you dont want to screw up your drinking cycle just because its winter it could throw all your timeing off come spring...derek

To Parker:
3 ten day trips, three long weekends, and just got back from RD's birthday bash.
Seems like it was just April and spring break.
Best spring, summer (and now fall) ever.
Yesterday air temp 92F, water 81F.
Looking forward to this next spring break.

5 times including last night. Motor rebuild, pump rebuild and many little things have kept me on the trailer most of the summer. I only live a block from the lake too. I hope to get some more time in yet this fall.

Three times to Folsom Lake. Twice to the Sac River.
Reason. Badly broken leg in January. Fourth surgery in April. Off crutches in mid May. Waterskied for the first time in mid July (with a water proof bandage over a skin graft, I think my DR was pissed). Sold boat in late July. Picked up new boat in mid August. Can't wait until next year.

2-4 times a week.....52 weeks a year......rain or shine......ok, one is a houseboat and it rairly leaves the dock but I am on the water....Yipeeeee!

Actually more than I can account for. So it must have been a good year and I'm not done yet. After all it is SoCal.

Every Thurs evening in the fast boat for the drag boat gathering. Memorial to Labor day +.
At least once per weekend 2-3 times on holiday weekends in the family boat since may. Did not go this weekend for the first time. Not done yet.

0......FAHK! last summer......1, only about 5 lake trips. been a long dry spell. should have a boat done by next summer though. DAMN THIS COLLEGE LIFE!!
