Yesterday we took out the big bowrider and went to Lewisville Lake with a bunch of friends, tied up in a raft of about 25 boats. There was prolly around a hundred boats total, so it was a pretty good party.
Late in the afternoon I saw this hydro puttin' by and I hollered at the driver to come over. I figured he was a Hot Boat board idjit like the rest of us, sure enough it was StealBlueZ.
We invited him aboard, had fun talking for a while and drank some beers.
So Randy, here's the photo I took. Sure is a pretty boat, I wanna go for a ride sometime.

Thanks for the comps, you guys! RRRR, you rock! Had a good time hangin on your boat and visiting. You friends were nice, too. I woulda taken a couple of'm for a ride, but the wind was up and a lot of chop. Not good in a hydro, but at least I was able to make an "appearance" !!!
This boat actually came from California and was operated by the "Hamertime" guys, who upgraded to a newer boat. Apparently they sold it to someone out there and he put in a 2nd seat and went to the lake with it. It was sold a couple years ago to an engine builder in south Texas, and it sat most of the time. Then a good friend told me about it so now it sit is my garage and my motor sits in it! It's a '90 model Canyon, with 509 inches of Chevy, and other goodies.

Really looks good. had the flattie out for a few short passes, but the 396 won't pull the gears and take a set so, gotta get me more motor.

I woulda taken a couple of'm for a ride, but the wind was up and a lot of chop. Chop? LOL, it was like the freekin Atlantic. We put in up in Little Elm, going to Sneaky Pete's it was just me and my wife with only a little bit of gas, so no weight in the boat running to quartering waves. We were running sorta fast and it was a pretty bumpy ride.
When we picked up Valerie and the rest of the gang I put 70 gallons of gas in ($1.99 X 70 = DAMMIT! :D ) So, going back to the cove with eight people we had a much better ride.
Had a good time, and the boat decoration said they would love to come back. :D

SteelBlueZ I'm the guy with the red boat who talked to you at the cove. I caught up with that big cat and talked to him, then also back at Sneakys. He's got 900s/6s on that boat, said it ran 137 at the factory dial-in three weeks ago.

rrrr sorry I missed you, thought you had a 25 aytona out there yesterday? Cat, what I call my "big bowrider" is a '96 24' Century Arabian, it has a wakeboard tower from Tops n' Towers in Seabrook. We were tied up with the rest of the folks, so my somewhat stock bowrider doesn't stand out, although I think it's a pretty darn big boat, LOL. I will save your phone number and we will meet up next time.
We all had a good time talking to StealBlueZ, his boat is a very nice piece and unlike most of us boat retards he can actually carry on a conversation LOL.

Lake was rough yesterday, couldn't get my boat past 75 or so. Saw that big Nor-Tech, paint job was awesome, I know you saw it too, rrrr.
I'll be testing props on Lewisville this week, see you guys next Sunday, give me a call we'll hook up at Sneakys.
Wassup with the Nor-Tech, it looked like he was running diesels in that bad boy.
BTW, when we were going out to Farmersville to get the boat from our lake house we saw the big cat with the Allison turbines, can't remember the boat name. What a crazy way to spend a half million of your pocket change, heheh. :D

Naw he had 900s/#6s on it, about $150,000 worth of motors and drives. jawdrop The only turbine boat I've seen on the lake is Flash Gordon's 36 Daytona.
