If you go over 120, wear your lanyard and a flotation device. :rollside: :rollside:

Yep, I always wear my Lifeline vest when I'm on a bike. Chicks love it, and all the biker gangs will leave you alone, because nothing screams "Badass" like a guy in a bright oarnge life vest, on a motorcycle.. Plus it always comes in real handy those times I crash over the side of a bridge into some water. Jeez... if I only had a nickle for every time that has happened. :D

Hey Mike, hows it go brother? I rode the Malibu Alps yesterday and it was nice. As the norm on Sundays, lots of speed traps but no tickets...it was a good day for Duc huntin! ;) http://img460.imageshack.us/img460/4582/3ducsstunt7ly.jpg

What most motorcyclists are reffering when they talk about Deal's Gap is the "Tail of the Dragon" a nice little stretch of asphalt with 318 curves in 11 miles. Part of "The Dragon" which is like 300 miles of curvy roads winding through TN and NC. I'm planning on bringing two bikes. My R1 and a little KZ650 cafe racer I'm just finishing building. That way I have a spare bike in case I do something stupid, but don't die or render myself paralyzed in the process. :D Never been there yet, but I have been wanting to go for years. I can't wait! These websites should give you some good info.

My Duc Brother, my hands are over my ears and i am saying "i can't Hear you naaa naaa naaa I Can't Hear ya..... Sounds like you had some fun, i think i am going to head out later this week to dust off the cobwebs on the bike the helmet and the rider :p, can't wait for spring to get here, no rain, warm afternoons and nice cool evenings, hope the rains don't put too much junk in the roadway, but the first rides of the year are always warm ups for summer riding anyway. Pic looks good where was that taken. I got a tank mount for my camera, and am going to take some shots this year and get them posted, still want to get out and ride with ya!!! See ya Mikey

Now I just feel like a 'tard. I thought I knew my brit bikes. What is that of yours? I think it's a Matchless but I am not sure?
Here's my 67 Victor Roadster. Very similar to the Shooting Star they sold in USA, no rear rack, white instead of red, and also has the older style forks with no boots.

Man, that's pretty. I'm really looking forward to doing a full resto on the BSA, just not sure when I will have the time. Its a solid runner, but far from perfect in detail. I've got 14 or so old bikes (most dirtbikes, huskys, CZ, and jap stuff) around, in various states of disrepair. I've got a 1975 Kawasaki F9 350 (Bighorn) that my dad bought in 1976. Its got 2700 miles on it. The only things that have been changed are the spark plug, the kick lever, and the front fender. I bought an NOS Preston Petty for it. I also found an NOS fork brace for it this winter, which gives it a different look.

Deals Gap is definately a dream of mine. That place is just insane. Everyone I know says that most wrecks happen there due to the guys getting tired. The GP vid is cool too. I try to hit a few good twisties a couple times a month, but the weather has kinda blown that lately. Ever run Glendora Ridge road? Nice vids. MORE PLEASE.
