I adopted him from a rescue. He's a little Chihuahua mix. He kicks ass. If he's asleep and you mess with him, he will bite a mother****er.

http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/506/658ROXY-med.jpg GOD DAMN DUDE!!!!!
When I first met RD, it was at his house right before leaving with him to Parker. I met him there and we just left from there.
I didn't know RD from jack. He could have been a ****ing nut job that put a gun to my head and told me to cut my package off for all I knew. Anyway, when I was throwing my shit into his ride, his dog Neva (a pit bull mix) just about ripped my head off. The whole ****ing drive I was uneasy and thought that dog was going to rip into me. Turns out after a couple days I was part of the crew and she was cool. Just don't mess with RD while he's asleep or she will hand you your ass.

Ok Ok that was wrong.
My whole deal is if you take the dog to the river, then you better be prepared to deal with it. Watching these little guys is a 24/7 job.
They are like 2year old with sharp teeth.
If I ever take my dog then I probably wont be drinking. They can get you into a lot of trouble.

I had a rottweiler piss on me while i was on the channel hanging out during spring break a couple years ago. Everyone got a big kick out of it except for myself.

Justin,
Congratulations on the new pup!
I’m glad to hear that you got it from a rescue there are a lot of good dogs that need homes out there. :)

I’m glad to hear that you got it from a rescue there are a lot of good dogs that need homes out there. :) Thanks B. I'm really stoked on him. He's not a puppy though, he's over a year. He was found on the street and was a biter. This lady rescued him and turned him into a shelter. It took a long time for his foster mom to get him to trust and not bite.
Anyway, when I decided to get a little dog I did a lot of research and now I would never buy from a breeder or a pet store. Some of the pictures and living conditions these puppies come from are horrific. Anyway, I am glad I found this little guy and I'm sure he'll be happy with me.

Them small dogs can be vicious. My SIL has an IG that always attacks my 80 lb lab, but the one he fears is my Dad's dauchund Shawn. He no he does not have much advantage, so he uses his size to get under and go for the balls. It is hard to be a fighter if you are always having to guard the jewels.

Yea the pics of Puppy Mills make me sick. I would never get a dog from a breeder or pet store either. I think that the rescue dogs are better. Call me strange but I think that they know that they have been saved and become really grateful and loving towards their owners.
Make sure you keep that biting thing under control so it doesn’t get out of hand.
Our dog Molly had a biting issue when we got her but we got it taken care of and she has been a great dog ever sense.

Did they make you jump through 50 million hoops to get the dog from the rescue?
I was thinking about getting a bulldog from a bulldog rescue but they ask for so much crap. They also have the right to call you at anytime and ask to visit your home to inspect it and make sure it is a suitable living enviroment. It's a dog not a child! Not to mention I don't want these people calling me to do a surprise inspection of my house once a week. That would involve taking down the love swing and hiding my real doll. WTF?!?

Congratulations on the new Chihuahua mix. That's great that you rescued him from a shelter.
If you bring him to Havasu anytime soon (like this weekend) look for these guys on the channel and introduce him (and yourself!)

I was thinking about getting a bulldog from a bulldog rescue but they ask for so much crap. Yeah. I was actually rejected before. I guess the fact that I don't have a fence that goes around the entire house and the fact that I have a cat. I got into an e-mail argument with the shelter and after I lost my temper, that was one place I was definately not going to get a dog from. :D
Funny, I drove all the way up to LA to that stupid shelter I got rejected from. I ended up finding Shorty just down the street.

My dog is a Boa Constrictor, that I've had since 1985. She makes no noise, and only eats and craps about once every 2 or 3 months.
Your dog wouldn't much like her though, even though she hugs and swallows... jawdrop

This, is a bona-fide, no drama river dog. Gets in and out of the boat herself, attracts the hotties, and wears a life jacket. What more could you ask for?
