Water in the Ear?
Forget the off the shelf stuff ya buy at the Pharmacy. Seven bucks and it doesn't work.
The prescription stuff is the only remedy.
I understand their is a pre treatment to prevent it in the first place. Something like vinegar and glycerine,,,
Anybody know??
Damfino.
How about SLIME?
The stuff the kids use to slide their feet into their Wakeboards bindings?
Dishsoap works,, but nowhere near as good as slime. OK if you're broke,, but it ain't the same.
At $15 bucks a quart,, their has to be a better homebrew to make your own SLIME.
Any homebrew remedies out there???

Alternative for Slime is Aloe Vera spray from Banana Boat. Works, great. Washes off quick and your feet love the lotion too! :D

For swimmers ear prevention, my Doctor said to use isopropyl alcohol with a little white vinegar 16:1. Use a dropper, and apply after going in water.
And you thought vinegar and water was just for wiping down the boat. It might just be the next best thing since aspirin.

Tilt your head to the side that has the water in it.
With your knees locked, do a little hop. A few inches will do.
The minor jolt will release the water from the ear.
Take it from someone who swam competitively and played Water Polo for 8 years. It works. :)
