I would just like to thank Infomaniac for all the hard work he has put into this thread. And would like to see if everone else feels the same. This is by far the best thread I have had the pleasure of following. And I have learned alot.Being an inspector I can really respect the detail this guy put forth in his work. Good Job!
P.S.For those of you that dont know the thread goto Havasubarney.com. And look for "Marine Assault"

Yeah, Info is a cool guy. If he would just do two things, he would be set:
1. Add a missing hex bolt to his steering wheel
2. Tighten up his tack so it doesn't rattle out of the hull. wink

So will the two Jack Asses who voted "Disagree" care to give a reason? My guess is it just some one trying to stir the pot! :D

2. The tach is tight. The guts on the inside are what is loose. Darn manual tachs.
Thanks for the kind words SuperV Tiwstedpair and Justin
Know how to drive a v-drive guy crazy?
Throw a few nuts and bolts in the bottom of the boat. :D

I have a manual tack too. For some reason, I really like my old guages. Even better than brand new ones. Even of someone gave new ones to me, it would be hard to replace them. I dunno, guess I'm crazy.
You know how when you're wrenching on the car or boat and you drop a socket, how it rolls perfectly centered under the car so it's hard to reach at all angles? Well, the nuts and bolts in a boat like to roll under the stainless fuel tanks. Happens every time. I just give up and buy new. I tried once for an hour to hose one out.
