This weekend in Havasu I got the best ride ever in DCB Mach 34 (If you were in the channel, you probably saw it). That boat was insane- I've never been so fast in a boat (approx. 140 mph eek! ). The owner was grateous enough to give me a ride because my boat is still not fixed. I cannot even describe what a rush, literally, it was!

A ride in Infos boat would be the best.
But until then.
Would have to be the ride in a 70 Sanger flatbottom that I was looking to buy.
It had a Blown 427 chev. We idled down to one end of the lake while chatting parts and price.
Then turned around, he told me to grab my sunglasses and we were gone. We ran out of lake before it quit building power.
That was awesome. Darn thing got sold out from under me.

In my dad's 68 Hondo flat...I was about 20 and was just after completion and it was too much to figure out how to use the Cavitation Pedal, Transmission, and Gas pedal all in a single pass...Plus 90 in a Flat at 2/3 throttle is more scary than 90 in my cat any day of the week.

Info, Those are cool videos. Speed in the first one??? It reminds me of boating before our water got all hard (winter). Man, I can hardly contain myself waiting to take the new boat out. 85% done now.

That run was just over 120. It was a bit fat. It normally runs right at 130. A pill changed picked it back up. Has been radared a bit over 130 but who knows?

I am going to work on the ET before this season. I have to chase down these jet boats. Almost did not catch the Snowman. 1000 HP white Mirage jet. I think it is for sale minus engine.

'69 Howard flat, 427 'vette engine. I jump in with a silver and the driver says "you might wanna leave that on the dock" I say "nah, I'm cool". Next thing you know we're headed for a rock wall @ 80 mph and he turns that thing like it was on rails. Meanwhile I got one hand on the oh S*$% handle and trying to clench my ass to stay in the seat while taking a Coors Light shower....
Should have left the beer...

MJ19,
Triple Trouble still lives, 'Vis is not happy because I'm faster than him. But knowing him it won't be for very long.

I'd have to go with my first real ride in a "fast" boat. Mid 70's Sanger hydro. An ex-dragboat we both could barely sit in. Tunnel rammed BBC. We'd cruise something like 50 and then he'd hit it. Thing would kick sideways like a car spinning it's tires and then flat be gone! What a rush :D

And if he thought it was as fun? It was great fun for me! :) I guess this summer we'll have to try and top it in your boatie boat :D

I met him about two weeks ago at the channel at Havasu. We talked for about a hour about boats and business we are both into construction. He seem like a pretty cool guy. Really don't know him that well.

The best ride i ever had was when i was about ten years old at Lost Lake. My dad put me between his legs in his race boat(California Performance gullwing) and made a pass it was probably only about 55mph but felt like 1000 jawdrop mph at the time.I will never froget that ride.
