Ok...was up at the Ponderosa a couple of weeks ago and they had alot of candy I hadnt seen since I was a kid.....candy cigarettes, the long flat salt water taffy strips.....
what was your favorite candy as a kid?

:) Oh Man Can I relate to the candy cigs. Was in Santa Barbara a couple months ago on the Pier and found some in a ship there. I could not beleive they still made them. Of course I bought some and brought them home :D

maybe showing my age here , :confused: but do you remember those ? Well since I already aged myself, HELL yes I remember those! And the Halloween candy too, the draculas that were full of the syrup too, and the wax candy lips and teeth...

My parents used to take me shopping at Sears as a kid and my "reward" for behaving would be these purchased from the candy counter there:

Abba Zabbas are my favorite, my mom used to throw them on the dash board of our truck on the way out to the river and if we were good atdesert center we would get to eat them. nothing better than a melted Abba Zabba.
