I'm in Ontario CA, and looking to get new tile counters in the kitchen. Anyone in here have someone inexpensive they recommend, or better yet anyone in here do it for a living?
Thanks,
Brian

..take a class at Home Depot and throw down some Dal 4" whites :) Or head to Alhambra and pick up some pre-fab 8' sections, lay em down...easy as pie..

so I have to ask. Do you want it done cheep or do you want it to look nice? I've always found it's hard to get both.

No hook up yet. If you have some #'s send them out to me Silver.
I'm just not interested in spending 10K on tile counters. I know, for $800 it's not going to look good, but I have found that there is a great sliding scale. Some people are quoting prices that compare to granite. I'm not spending $35 a square foot for labor. Cheap isn't the right word I guess. I was looking for reasonable.

...dude, your $$ are very reasonable...8' pre-fab granite pieces are $250 on the low to $500 on the high and they come with 6" backsplashes! Check into it...

I've heard bad things about stains in granite.

If your house is a showplace, maybe it's ok. Ketchup and coke (not mixed) apparently stain it bad. I've got a little one, and my house is little more than a crappy shack. We want tile. I want someone else to put it in. I'm asking for a hook up. Thanks for the input though. :)

This place in the valley, has 96" lengths, counter depth, a couple years ago they were right around 300 per length....bullnosed, and backsplash was extra 180ish...Pretty nice selection too

Let me call my family and see about contacts, or just give you my brother's number.
Btw, Dave and I also live in Ladera Ranch!
I will PM everyone tomorrow!

Whats up Brannon.....call Bob Chapman 626-964-9798...he's an older dude but he's a character. He's done work for my parents and my bro and lots of clients I've sent his way. Great work for an affordable price.

I hear ya on not wanting to do it yourself and just having it done. My kitchen about killed us. lol

...if you don't care about seams, pre-fab is a good way to go on smaller size jobs! :)

Thanks for the info Dan...I'm looking for just the carpet as I will be installing myself. Probably end up at Lowe's or HD.

He might be able to get you just the carpet as well. He's a really nice guy it might not hurt to check with him.
