It's a 2003 American Iron Horse. The model is Texas Chopper. Its looks blue but it is an awesome purple. The color is House of Kolor Bad Ass Burple. I have a suction seat for the Mrs. .
Yeah I was over their for the Ins. They needed pics. So far so good, just a few minor kinks. Mikuni carbs the float keeps sticking and flooding the engine........

http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/111DSCF00821-med.JPG Sweet ride Kilr. Kinda funny with that 10 MPH sign behind it. Been thinkin about a chopper myself for a next toy. How's the ride for the Mrs. on that thing? Any problems with the rear fender clearing with the two of you on it? What's the price range for a custom like that? What do you think about Big Bear Choppers? I hear you can buy a complete set-up for around $18,000. A little more for them to assemble. But I wouldn't mind putting it together myself.

HOOTER $18,000 is pretty darn cheap for a custom Chopper. Is that not painted? Is the frame pre drilled to mount everything? If not assembly is going to be a lot more work then you think.
I have started buying pieces to build custom choppers for my father and I. They are turning out to be a lot more expensive then I had originally thought. S&S engines are like $8,000 each jawdrop and doesn't include the trans.
I am interested to know what kind of motor, wheels, and trans they use on that $18,000 chopper.

http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/111DSCF00821-med.JPG Nice bike Kilrtoy. As you can see I ride Harleys. The one in my avatar I am selling and I also have a 200 Heirtage Softail. The HS is in the shop getting ape hangers and I recently added Hooker pipes with no baffles. Louder than shit :) You want to go to Sturgis with Nodigg and I (riding all the way) or are you planning on being a poser? jk Maybe some time we can get together and ride somewhere. Let me know.

Boozer,
I was kinda surprised too when I heard that. But a good friend of mine works with a guy who bought a Big Bear Chopper for that amount. He said it was COMPLETE. Not a thing needed(he assembled it). Don't know what the set-up was. I'd imagine it wasn't a Briggs & Stratton though. :D :D I'll have too find out.

Quick story,
We started on a road King 19,000 Grand. Then the paint 5,000. Then the hop up that slow ass motor about 3,000. Then to crome and steel braid everything about another 5 to 7 thousand. Rims another 2 too 3 grand. So on the low end I'm at about 34,000 and that is if i do alot of the work myself. But still, it will look like everyone elses bike and I will have no warranty. So I did my homework or so I thought and bought a BIG DOG Chopper.
 <<<<<<BIG BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE>>>>>>>
The company is ****ed up and so is their dealer. After 7 months of bullshit and lies I got my money back. I started reading about AMERICAN IRONHORSE and was very impressed. Met their dealer and was equally impressed. The wife saw the bike on the floor and had to have it. Here we are today.
It was 32 out the door. If you get basic paint its about 28000 out the door. 3 year warranty on everything and its unlimited. NO ONE COMES CLOSE TO THAT. S & S 107 motor 6 speed tranny 240 rear tire. The ride is nice but if you arent a good rider and have chopper experience I would not recommend this bike. The wife loves the ride, but on the freeway it tightens up and gets a little stiff at around 70. My buddy has a hopped up 2002 road king and we rode this weekend. He was on the gas hard and I was just cruising(MOTOR IS NEW DON"T WANT TO HURT IT) and he could not even stay with me. I cant wait to open it up and see what it has.
