i don't want to see accords, camrays, altimas etc at daytona, vegas etc... The cars they have now are "spec bodies" because of the templates. No Fords, Chevys, Dodges or Pontiacs.
HUFFPOWER:
thankfully the NHRA has thier heads on straight !!!!!! :D :D :D

http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/61Sarver.jpg you reckon he has a 4 banger in there? I notice it doesn't have a 5lb folgers can for a muffler or 3 ft tall mechanical aluminum wing....WTF???

to bad nascar is slowly selling out its fans by allowing a foreign make to enter an american car seriesIs that how you look at it? That's sad and narrow minded. Don't tell me you couldn't see this comming...It was only a matter of time for them to get into Nascar. Toyota has to meet all of the same standards as the current MFG's do, so how is it a sell out?

I really don't care if Toyota gets into nascar.
The only thing I would like is to turn on the Speed channel & watch something that is not nascar related.
Don't get me wrong I am a racing feind but essentialy I am just plain sick of nascar.

I have yet to watch Nascar since they gave Jessie Jacksons biggot ass any money. Why dont they just go sponsor David Dukes next political campaign and make a donation to farakon (the bow tie f*cker)<sp>

Personally I don’t care if Toyota’s, Honda’s or any other JAPANESE cars are made (assembled) in the US. They are still Jap’s. The money (profit) stills goes out of this country and into the hands of the Jap’s.
It’s important to remember 9/11 but don’t forget Pearl Harbor!

But....Toyota trucks are made in Princton, Indiana and those people there needed those jobs. I would bet that they are every bit as American as you and anyone you know.
Bottom line is a new Toyota truck is made in America and my new Chevy Surban was mostly made in Mexico.

Well, I think it's cool that Toyota is getting into it. Competition forces everyone to get better.
