ok, when i drink, seriously, all i think about is the damm river, and our boat, and our place at the river ( ours little but good, we call it white trash) , the good food there, i love the food there, and roadrunner, damm, i miss that place, i miss the people, i miss the sunburn, the hangovers, the lauphin, the boats, the dogs, the sun, my friends....i cant take it anymore!!!! eek! eek! eek!

ohhhhhh, no egg nog, iv never had that, the thought makes me sluggish!!! EGG--NOG?????EWWWWWWW, what exatley does that mean?......a drink with egg in it????? yuck!!!!!

Haha, That's too funny. That's all we think about to when the drinking starts around my house too. All the boys come over and we talk about engines, pumps, new plans, old plans gone bad and so on. The wife will even ask later on when everyone is gone, "So are you going to buy those brodix heads?, or "What RPM will you be able to pull with that new set up?". This is coming from a girl that can't open her car hood. Boating really get deep into the soul. Come on spring. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :cool:

Right after the second cocktail, thoughts drift off to the River and the many girl friends and wives I've been through there. Then the boats that have come and gone. And finally, the warm summer nights of never ending celebrating !!!
Were it not for ethanol, I doubt I would ever make it through winter !!!

This is killing me. I bought a new boat in November and all I can do is stare at it and dream about warm weather and G-strings. You guys think you got it bad, our season is from end of may to August/September if we're lucky.

Your funny, I also think alot about the river in the winter time, i look at it as a great time to get on the river and make some big horse power with the cool weather and some big speed runs.
You can't beat it, golf in the am, speed runs in the affternoon, roadrunner for drink at sunset, and the fun of getting drunk with the blue hairs.

Once beyond a couple of beers, I think of my boat, warm or hot weather at the river, drinking and eating at Fox's, floating down from the dam with my favorite CD's blasting, hanging out at the sand beach, meeting other cool boaters, all while continually checking out the beautiful sites! pig_flyi

The river oh yes,,,, the highest temp we've seen in a week is 30 F$%KING degrees. The thaught of the wind through my hair (ok i dont have hair)the spray from the boat I am about to overtake, the hard mechanical roar of 700 hp, the bow flerting with the sky........ God Damn it, I wake up and realize its 10 below outside, I'm single (i.e not getting laid :( ) and my ****ing room mates spilled coke on my new carpet and didn't clean it up. Who the ****s idea was this thread...... Ohh, there is my drink,,,, I'm better now,,,, Crown and Coke any body. :) how about a Zannex. marry christmas :)
