Sangster...Dont let them talk to you that way. My Ford will out pull any Chebby, anyday. I spend more time helping guys fix Chebbys than anything else on the road. Anyone for a pulloff???? A little out-of-the-water fun??

2000 Custom F350, 4X4, Lariet, Crewcab, Powerstroke with everything Gale Banks offers and more. Cant wait till next years new body comes out. Instead of working on it for 2 years getting it the way I have it now(which I really like) I know exactly what I want..including 20" wheels and 37" tires.....right from the start.

Now, I'm obviously a Ford man ('78 F-250 4x4 Lariat, built 460, 36" Hummer tires, twin Dana 60s, bad stereo system, fuzzy dice, etc.) but this is the best Ford acronym I've ever heard:
Faggot
Operated
Road
Device
I always thought that one was funny. BTW, Ford is the BEST! They knew which end to put the distributor on! :D

This arguement is older than prostitution, I have owned all 3 and if you are gonna work it a Ford is the only way to go. If you just need something to haul your golf clubs to the country club a chevy will work great.

We just returned from a true torture test of trucks. Drove from Alberta Canada to Atamarino Mexico for the World jetboat marathon race. Of the trucks that left Alberta there was 4 - F350 Ford deisels (2 were chipped) and 3 - 2500 series GMC deisels (1 - chipped). We drove at 90 MPH through the States (no tickets either) and put on a total of 14000 KM. We were not easy on the trucks. We traveled from Del Rio to my house in Alberta in 29 hrs. The chipped Fords both had transmission problems with valves sticking open and the chipped GMC had a transmission problem as well(?). The chipped Fords were only slightly faster on flat ground but could out pull on the hills. Fuel milage was about the same in all the trucks (11 - 12 MPG). The GMCs suffured the most casualities; broke brake line, tail light failure, humming rearend noise, weird noise from the front end. Bottom line in my opinion is, Keep them stock if you are going to run hard. Before all you guys tell me that the chips were bad or improperly installed. One of the failed fords was owned by a guy that owns a Ford dealership in the North West Territories and they sell 4% of all Ford trucks sold in North America and are the cold weather testing ground for new Ford products. They know their Fords. They also are the 5 time world champs with a nasty 1000 HP 600 ci Ford. Just my 25 cents worth.
PS - The race was a blast.

I was always a Chevy guy, but for towing a heavy boat I will stick to fords (untill Chevy builds something better).
I tow our Top Gun (10,000+ pounds) with an 02 f-350 PSD 4x4, and it tows it with no problems. I can pull it up the grade on the way to Havasu at 80+, and it is not chipped.
The chevy's I think are more comfortable inside, but they have to much of a mushy car feel for me to be pulling a heavy load with. Just my.02

I tow my low profile 20ft OB with a 99 F-350 PSD crewcab, longbed. If i wanted to i could pull 6 boats like mine :D
My wife was driving up the Baker grade w/ the boat in tow, and wondered why the truck wouldn't go over 95mph (bouncing off the speed limiter)
Really nice to go overkill.

Later, They put together some SBC's to do the same  .

Ok I have both, Duramax and Power Stroke. The power stroke has 4,000 miles on it and is on its 2nd tranny. Chevy looking better and being faster. To top it of it is on 44's while the ford is on 37's with propane.
Do you guy's no why FORD chose an oval to go around the ford letters?..........................Because they like to circle there mistakes. :D

I had a 99 PSD 4x4 and now have a 02 PSD 4x4 and there is a huge difference. The motor on the 02 has more power and is not as noisy, and the tranny feels much better as well. My friend still has his 99 and he can't believe the difference between the two trucks.
