We will shortly have a new language in Kaleeefornia. Please keep this email for reference if you get confused in a few year.
Subject: Austrionics
The New California Governor has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the state, rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, The Terminator's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would become known as "Austro-English" (or, perhaps even better, Austrionics .).
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of the "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with the "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".
During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl.
Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
If zis mad yu smil, pleas pas it on to oza pepl.

Understated...I have a lot of friends in Vancouver or that are from there. One of the reasons they have immigrated to the US using NAFTA Visas was to try to get ahead without the oppressive tax burden.
The country still is very socialistic, which (my opinion) is a good share of the reason the economy has been pretty flat up there for the past decade or so.
Beautiful country with wonderful people...I love Vancouver. It is my favorite city in Western North America. :D :D But I would hate to have to pay the taxes you have to pay.
Where is California Marine located, is it in Surrey or Richmond or somewhere else?

Doc, california marine is in richmond. If you're familiar around vancouver , cal marine is close to the alex fraser bridge that connects richmond to surrey. The complex is next to Shelter Island Marina. If you ever come to vancouver look us up ,or send an e-mail to my work at creo to go for a ride. The weather is ok for all year boating except on rainy days;) .

Thanks man. I stayed in Richmond when I was up there for a training class a few years ago. I love Vancouver I was not kidding. It is my favorite west coast city in North America. I would love to drag the boat up there. Never know it is possible I could end up with a job in Seattle. Then it is only a couple hours drive and half hour at the border or so...
Just wish it didn't rain so much up there. But somethings gotta make it so green!:D
