Boat Cop is there a min/max number of tickets that you will be selling?

hd&boatrider
10-27-2003, 03:23 PM
My check is in the mail for 5 of them....You other people might want to just save your money....lol

Boatcop

Minimum ticket: 1.
Maximum tickets: Whatever your wallet will allow.*
*(Only break is at each 5 - for $100.00)
$25 each
3 for $75
5 for $100.00 ($20 each)
7 for $150
10 for $200
11 for $225
etc.
If you're out here anytime before Christmas Eve, you can buy the tickets in person from our Admin Office in Parker.
Most of our Deputies have tickets on them also, and will be more than happy to take your money.
(PS: Offering to buy tickets will NOT get you out of the other kind of tickets we usually hand out.) :D
Edit: I just re-read the question. No, we will be selling as many tickets as people want to buy. We considered selling only a set number at, say $100 each, but the little guy (read Po' People) wouldn't get a chance for it. So we decided to just sell as many as we can for the above price. This way even us public servants can afford a ticket or 2.

That would be nice and a real money saver if I could buy the other kind of ticket for $25.00 each.:D Last one cost me almost $200.00. Please let me know if I can buy speeding tickets ahead of time. I could fill them out and have them ready to hand to the officer. Man what a time saver!!!

Is this proper use of the Rico Statute? Did you find a seed or a whole roach in it? Worse thing this country has ever done is give you guys authority to seize someones personal belongings based on minor drug violations, the abuse of this law in Arizona ought to be shameful to all law enforcement officers! Why is it mostly the Sheirff's office seizing all this property? Don't our already too high taxes buy you safety equipment?
No thanks I would never support this program that has been abused over and over here in the state of Arizona.
Just my humble opinion.
We ought to look more into what crooks are in jail.

I didn't think to look at it that way. So you can get your car taken away for a ****ing roach in AZ??
Dang, glad I don't still have the truck I drove in highschool. lol
Boatcop, what's the deal on this Rico Statute??????????

I don't know how the RICO statute is used in other Jurisdictions, but here we have to we have to have a link between transporting quantities above the sale threshold, and the owner having no legitimate source of income. No one's lost their property because of a seed, a roach or what could be considered personal use narcotics. (At least not here.)
Before we actually forfeit property, it has to go before a hearing in Superior Court, and the forfeiture decided by a Judge.
I believe this particular vehicle contained several pounds of methamphetamine. It had all the VINs removed. And was driven be Illegal aliens.
We've had it for 5 years and have been trying to identify it, through tracing engine numbers, etc. ever since, with no luck.
We've had NICB, MVD and DPS Auto Theft Experts go through it, and can't trace it anywhere. After exhausting all avenues of identification, we had a new VIN and title assigned through Arizona MVD.

Alan, I am thinking of sending a check for some tickets but I had a question. Has AZ assigned new numbers to the vehicle so that the winner can register the vehicle? Would hate to win a car that I can't drive. Thanks.

Yes, we had the MVD do a level 1 inspection and assign a new AZ VIN . It can be registered in any State.

Left or right upper rail between the 3rd and 4th bolt will be the shock tower stamping. Some fenders have a vin cutout in this area, some you have to remove the bolts and scrape off the caulking. Bummer killing the value with a new vin, but would be fun throwing a 250 shot on!
Count me in, too. I'll find room for it! :D
