When you step up to the 525efi how much of an increase in premiums will there be over the 496ho. Also when a whipple is installed does it go even higher than the standard 525? Dont wanna lie like some do and get screwed if there is ever a claim. I know alot of you have the 525? By the way its in a V-bottom.

Each one works a little differently dependant on weight top speed etc.etc. My wife can insure any of the afore mentioned configs if you want , you can give her a call for a quote. 928-505-2394

The stock 525 seems to be the cutoff before rates skyrocket. I am paying about $650/year through progressive for a 26' Hallett deck with the 525efi. The rate went up to something like $3200/yr for a 625hp motor. So I am staying with the 525.

When we took delivery and insured our 28 last year with the HP525 the cutoff was 500 HP in a V. Of course you could have a 90 MPH Bass Boat and get a lower premium than we could with the HP525. Makes sense right?
