What the **** is the story behind that????
That trailer must have been empty. If that was loaded to maximum gross weight, that one tire would be placing 17,000lbs on his chest. There would be a lot more blood coming out of every orafice.

Ouch!!!  I like that big indentation the tire left in his chest.

That same thing happened to a friend of mine.......only he lived! Broke every bone on the left side of his body! He was run over by a empty rock hauler while riding a Duc Monster. He said he never saw him. Turned right, right over him:eek: .

I read that somewhere a few months ago ...and the story was the gangbanger was trying to steal that truck ....with the driver still in it .....Things went downhill fast for the old boy.....!What a shame.....

I know this ain't right but, is that 18 on his neck stand for 18 wheels? Ouch, damn I'm going to hell. Someone had to say it. Drivers chock your wheels, just not with a person.

No it didn't. He has an "18" on his neck. The 18 wheeler was only trying to park there.

He should have had "No parking" tatooed on his chest :D

That's the one that happened here in Palm Springs. I was on duty that day but didn't go to the call, another station went. He tried robbing the truck driver. It didn't work

This piece of gang-banging white trash tried to carjack a trucker for his load at a truck stop. The trucker was still rolling when he opened his door to give up his truck instead of getting shot. Unfortunately for the dirtbag, he was knocked to the ground by the opening door and smashed by the wheels. The trucker then "detained" him until the local law enforcement could arrive. The pics were taken by a CHP officer at the scene. There are actually a few more pics to the series. I have them at home on my computer. I'll try to post them later.
Justice was swift in this case!

Gangbangers do not make good wheel chocks, they collapse.

I know its a tractor, I drive one. Those are drive axles and each axle can legally weigh in at 17,000lbs, or 34,000 for the "drives" which is the set of axles that drive the tractor. In the middle pic, you see the mudflap of the TRACTOR, and behind that is the landing gear support brace for the TRAILER. So, what part didn't you understand about an empty trailer? PS, the legal weight rating for the trailer "tandems" is the same as the "drives", 34,000 for the set.

Let me guess, his family is going to sue the trucking company or the yard that he was run over at for allowing this to happen?

Unless the truck driver was sitting in the passenger seat of his own truck when this happened??
In the second photo you can see the mud flat which tells ya which way the truck is facing, and this guy is under the passenger side, so how did the driver open the door?

Don't over analyze RD SVU.....The DA didn't....One less gangbanger on the road...

To correct Wetdreams math....;) The drives or trailer tandems could weigh as much as 34,000. That would be #8500 per set of dualls......

That is a right rear drive (tractor) axle, not a trailer axle. If that was at the Pilot truckstop in Palm Springs, I just missed seeing it in person. I didn't get the details, but there were a lot of cops on the scene. Drive axles and trailer axles can have "ground pressure" (weight) of up to 17000 lbs each

Yokohama tires leave a nice tread pattern on your chest.

The pictures don't match with the story! That's the rear axle on the right side of a tractor. The guys head is toward the rear of the rig and his legs are smashed while his head isn't. That tractor had to have backed up onto the guy. Looks to me as if he was trying to walk underneath a trailer and it rolled backwards, landing legs knocked him down and drive tires rolled up on top of him!

Either way he is dead and won't try to steal anything again. If the truck was moving slow, sure it hurt a lot as it went over his legs to his chest.

He looks like one of my friends except for the tatts, the scary part is he is a mechanic for a big rig company. kinda freaked me out.Either way that is very graphic.
