I saw that SKATER on MONDAY night . I was heading to LA on the 10fwy in the pouring rain, he was towing in the carpool lane at 120MPH with 4 chicks on the bow naked doing ungodly things to each other with a bunch of umpa loompas in the back seat doing GREY GOOSE BONGS and each engine had dual velocity stacks with thru hull and over the transom headers....

Those Raylar nuts have caused more than a few mishaps i hate to say.
I'd suggest installing 7/16 studs and using posi lock nuts.I had a set of posi locks machined down in height and the outside diameter slightly so they would work with the roller rockers and stock valve covers. The kit so far for me has been bullet proof the only part i was leary of were the nuts.now that problem is solved.Good luk Dex,hope it works out well for you.

Dexman's kit was sold quite awhile ago and he did call me to his credit and ask if we should exchange the now infamous nuts. I thought his were in the new manufactured batch, but I was wrong. The old nuts had a heat treat problem from a supplier we don't use anymore. He did break a nut on #7 cylinder and we sent out a new set overnight today and told his repair shop to send us the bill. Dex, man I am sorry, my screwup! I know the new ones won't give you or anybody else any problems. I now thhink we have all the bad ones in their grave! Good ridance! Sometimes you get almost everything right, but were human. Dexter I would like to see the picture of the motors with all the goodies on! Sorry for your inconvienence.
