Never lost a tranny yet
ALL OF MY FRIENDS that drive chevy sub and 1500
all have lost their trannys more than once and most dont even tow.....

Always been a Chevy guy but the last few years their styling has really been out in left field, in my opinion anyway. Hate the new front end and the Avalanch looks like a moon vehicle or something. I know a lot of people like em but I don't care for them. Killer, you got a good looking truck with just the right amount of attitude. Even if it's Ford..

Not a Ford Hater, just a Roush hater. But then you knew the odds were good he would be able to buy a championship sooner or later. I mean, it's not like what sits under Matts ass has anything to do with a Ford in the real world, right?

I have a 2003 Ford Crewcab turbodiesel 7.3 L. It's only 14 months old but so far it has performed flawlessly. I bought it to pull my 31' travel trailer. Last March, a buddy and I went skiing in New Mexico. We pulled the trailer, from Houston, non stop to Reudoso NM, stopping only for fuel. That truck was made to pull loads, it did a awsome job and I got 14MPG. I looked at the Chevy but I didn't like the front end design. Also, the salesman was very aloof like I had to take what he had on the lot or nothing. They were not giving much of a discount either. The fleet salesman at the Ford dealer was much nicer and looked all over the South central area to find the truck I liked. The big reason I bought a Ford turbodiesel is because 9 out of 10 people that pull travel trailers have a Ford. My family camps alot and I noticed this in the last year before I decided to buy a diesel truck. I am not pro Ford or anti Chevy. I got a better deal on the Ford and am very happy with my choice.

Torque in the usable range. 100% of all available torque below 2500 RPM.. I know that my 4.30 gears dont hurt, but that is one more reason that I wont be frying any transmissions any time soon..
