I posted this in Tow Rigs as well, but thought I would just drop a line here too...
In short, 1989 Chevy dually. 454/auto, 1 1/2 ton, no frills
$2500
For more info, drop me a line at wes@tridentboats.com or PM me or something. Should go quickly at this price. This is an excellent short haul work truck, that runs great.

I alledgedly has a functioning A/C, but needs to be serviced. It does not currently work.

Hehe.... That dude came over yesterday... creepy.
Ty is talking about this truck manhandling a POS out of the way after it's tow vehicle got stuck in my driveway. All while basically idling.
The war wagon taketh no shit!

good price for that truck. I sold a ragged '84 crew cab 4X4 for 3,500 the first day the recycler came out.
I bet if you put that in the auto trader for 3,500 it would do the same.

No doubt...
I am going to put it in the trader this week for $3500. I just wanted to offer it to a hot boater for what I got it for, which I considered a steal.
You know how it goes... do unto others and all.

I strongly considered it. But I don’t really need it. Besides Lindsey would probably kill me.

Naw.... she'd be fine! Think of it as a spare motor for the boat... hehe
Plus, after your performance last week Brad, and the offer to come down with your trailer for my plug, I would gladly lose money on the deal.

I have no idea why he says "I'd probably kill him"
He mentioned it tonight when he got home and I said "go for it"
We'd use it for our camper...basically put the camper on it and never take it off (to avoid having to load and unload the camper)...only using that truck when we take the camper and boat somewhere...so it'd need to be able to pull the boat and carry the camper :D it's up to Mr. Miller if he wants it and wants to pay for a vehical that won't move much. :)

I'd take it for a 1000 :D just so I wouldn't have to watch Miller loading and unloading the camper...makes me a nervous wreck!

Ide really like to have it but being on the right coast and you on the left coast ,, what kind of mileage does it get ?
9 -12 gallons to the mile ? :D err miles to the gallon .
well at 9 MPG it would be about 600 bucks worth of fuel .
anyhoo good luck selling it.
It'll make someone a nice toy dragger .

I really wouldn't want to spend any more time in this thing than absolutely neccessary...
It is remedial transportation. It can carry anything, and haul anything, but let's just stick to making home depot runs with it and tossing the keys to Ricardo on occasion for a dump run, shall we...
No frills, no dramas. Park it where you want to. Insurance is cheap, gas isn't. Throw an engine in back... who cares? You can't hurt the truck.
I would not settle an entire vacation on it's shoulders though. I don't love it that much.
Fact is, if it has a pickup bed on it and runs, you can get $3000 for it in San Diego. I have already listed it in the trader for $3500 for this week, and it will likely be sold by Monday. I was just offering it to a fellow hot boater as a work truck if need be.
What with the fires recently in San Diego, work trucks are all of a sudden in short supply too. Should go fast. If it is a fire victim, I am going to sell it to them for $1K off, back to $2500.
Thanks for the interest though...
