Hmmmmm.....that jackass was really taunting ole HH (AKA- Clark Griswold) from a dead stop....so ole HH had to wind up the hamptsters in the family truckster (from a roll)...
...even with the auto trans, full tank, and dead body in the trunk, the ole Family Truckster had him by a car length in 30mph-80mph...however, it was very impressive how he could chirp the tires (as he dropped back).
Then he starts whining about how if it weren't for the traffic...he would have pulled on me.
I think the Family Truckster held it's own, but it may be time for some new software.

HH, give em a try, you would be surprised at how slow some can be. I just banked some guy in a 2002 GT 5 Speed, he and his girly were in the car together. My old 4 door made him look bad. :)

I know some of the newer GT's are faster than the older ones. But I took a few in a bone stock 170HP Integra GS-R. It was pretty fun seeing the looks on a few faces.....:D

GS-R Integra's run bone stock mid 15 second quarter miles! And get 25-30mph to boot.

1000ft-lbs? From a Powerstroke? You gotta have some SERIOUS mods to get that from a Powerstroke. What do you have done?

I think the late models have picked up in the last couple of years but as of a couple of years ago or last year, Everything I saw (standard GT models) at the strip in mostly stock condition were running mid 15s to low 16s. Sorry if the Mustang guys don't like it but that was the norm.
I stood on several asses with plenty of witnesses in the stands with this heap and believe me I had no idea they were that slow until I had murdered several.
This thing has run 15.2 and 60' times of 2.12 in it's horrid smogger 4300lbs condition and with that I was killing these things. The neighbor has a newer model and claims it's in the 14s. I'd hope so....

Let's not compare Integras to Mustangs. That is an apples to oranges comparison. The mustang's strengths are cool image and looks combined with great straightline speed for the money. The Intera's strengths are great reliabily, roadworthiness, and fantastic handling for the money.
Even though they are both mid-priced sports coups that is where the comparison ends, as they were built with different performance goals in mind. :D

I remember the Mustang GT's running low 15's high 14's in the 1/4 mile. I was never a fan of the Mustangs. My cousin had a '98 GT that was a DOG. It got scarry some times when getting on the freeway. Actually up until about a year ago I hated all Mustangs that were not built in the 60's. A year ago my father bought a new Saleen. Changed my views on Mustangs all together! Now every opportunity I have to steal that car I take it! I do want to se the new GT40 that is comming out. From what I have heard they will be powered with the new Cobra engine.

Most mustang guys don't know how to launch them [ those guys need a volunteer to get in the trunk for better hook up ;) ]
