Is it just me or do all guys love riding the small bikes? I bought 2 xr 50s from Spectrum Honda about 1 month ago and I love riding the things in the street. I put the wide training wheels that go under the case and out under each foot peg for my 3 year old and I ride my 7 year old sons. Taking them riding for the 2nd time in the dirt over Thanksgiving up by Hesperia should be fun for all but probably more for me!

I paid $1300 OTD from Spectrum. I know I paid $100 more that I could have at LA Honda but I didnt want to drive there. Spectrum is not far for me. Never did check (Hahm Honda?) in Anaheim.

Yeah the bikes were all about 1100 1200
depending on brand, but the quads were 1700 to 2200.....

Somehow talked my way out. Good thing he stopped me before I got to the store.
On the way back he would have seen me carrying 2 30's bought with a fake:eek:

Isnt there some sort of cc law that you can ride w/o it being street legal such as a go ped?

yes, under 50 CC is legal. and if i remember correctly the 50 cc bikes are actually 46cc or so.

Its against the law to ride or drive , operate anything on a public street where fees havent been paid.....
A green or red sticker dont cut it.....

yep, I looked into it here. cc don't matter. Talked to a shop my first week in town: Only way to get around registration and insurance was to get a bike with pedals:yuk: :yuk:
Not worth it for me.....or......just don't get pulled over;)

You can ride those Go-Peds. But only on streets with a posted Speed limit of 25 MPH :D
