I live in New York State's Hudson Valley and unfortunately I am having a very difficult time finding a facility that can install a Hydromotive Nose cone on a Bravo I HP. I also need some engine work done (new headers, and also looking to add some hp to the engine.)
If anyone who may be in the NY, Connecticut,Massachusetts, or Vermont area who knows of a place that does this kind of work, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Finding someone to do custom work that isn't 1000 miles or more away has been a nightmare.
Thanks!

TELL us about your boat. Engine, rpm, speed. with the hp drive or any bravo 1 drive newer than 92 a nosecone wont help unless your going faster than 85 mph.

My boat is a full tunnel.
Engine: 540 cu. Merlin 2
Since my boat is new, the rpms are not yet verified. The speed has been recorded on GPS (calm water) at 94mph. The prop is a Bravo 1 24 pitch, ( other props will be tested in the spring.) Bravo 1 unit was reworked by IMCO ( upper case and vertical shaft and low water pick up.) I have been in boating for 42 years and this is my last hot rod, so I want to play as much as I can! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

With a tunnel boat what matters is the height of your drive. If the prop shaft is only 1 to 1 1/2 inches below the bottom of the boat a nosecone won't help much. It also will give you more transom lift. I have heard thats not good in a cat. But if your running your drive deeper than that you need the nosecone.

BB2001, what kinda gears are you running on your outdrive? On my boat a bravo I 24 pitch prop is 72mph just shy of the rev limiter.

Tinkerboater,
X config is set 1.75 in. above normal. The setting of torpedo tip sits slightly above bottom of the sponsons. The outdrive height was well thought out before installment. Do you know of anyone in NY or nearby that can help me?

RiverDave2,
My gear ratio is 1:36:1. On GPS, the speed is 93.7 mph exact. My rev limiter is set at 6000 rpm/ max is 6200 rpm.

Where are you picking up your cooling water from? With your drive that high you shouldn't need a nose cone. Are you having problems with blowout at high speed?
