Holiday spirit.

I have been having a hard time getting into the holiday spirit this year. It seems there are so many terrible things going on in the world, locally and to friends here on the boards.
I just got back from taking my 7 year old daughter to the show
"ELF" and I be damned if that wasn't the kick in the ass I needed!
That show was funny! My daughter and I loved it and I have been humming Christmas tunes since we got home.
I think its time to put up the lights!!!

I was having a hard time getting into it as well. Then the community had it's annual christmas light parade. So me and some of the boys from work lit up a floater and entered it. Didn't win first or anything, but it was a real nice night. Bon fires on the street corners, lots of nice people, etc.

ok, i got a ****ed up wing, my house is in 100 pieces (remodel), im getting my gullbladder out next week, im fighting with the claims adjuster on my homowners ins. about the claim, my kids are slobs, iv worked 8-15 hr days, while my co-workers are in maui......... and i want to be in the xmas sprit!!...but im havin a really hard time right now!!..ow did i mention the rash i have on my FACE because im so stressed!!!!!
where is santa?????

Had to go to my work " HOLIDAY " party last night. 2500 drunks
playing Tahoe casino with fake money acting like it was real.
Then you buy donated gifts with your winnings if you have any.
I lost all my phony money on purpose, then sat back and watched
all the drunks dance like asses on the dance floor.:D
Always comical when you get back to work. Especially when you
tell Susie she lifted her skirt and wanted a quicky and she doesn't
remember.:D

I put my lights up the day after Thanksgiving...
7 years ago.
I'm always ready for Christmas. I just roll a couple old cars I normally keep on the front lawn around the side and Christmas spirit is in place.
