CP,
I ride at fairplex almost everyday. We used to hit the 50 track every Wednesday. You have to have seen me out there. I am (if not the fastest) one of the fastest guys out there. I run the spikes on the front fender.

Haha. Your right RD. Those things can really surprise you in second gear. Some guys put thousands into them and they look good but defete the perpose. I like to take those guys out on the track and scratch up their good looking shit. HA!

yep thats us. I have never rode my 250 on the track and i still have the paddle on it.We took our 50z to glamis for thankgiving and rode them on gecko. The ranger were on us all weekend. Still fun.We are going back out for new years./ That place is good riding. Track is too tight for me. Perfect for the 50z. well maybe we will see you out there or if you wqant to go to glamis let me know we will be at wash 10

I went to Glamis for Halloween and the weekend after that. I ate shit and just finished putting the bike back together. Cost me like $1,500 and the bike is like a month old. That place is fun but I wont ride on a big weekend. Too many out of controll dicks.
We tought about it for newyears... but decided to hit Vegas. I will PM you when the 50 is running and we will hit the dirt at fairplex.

Whats the story on these little 50s? is the honda the best one? What is the best year to get ?(im assuming the 04 is the best?)What can I expect to spend on a new one? Last question is, who makes all the upgrades? I know BBR has parts, but who else? That 80 cc kit sounds like the hot ticket.

cs19,
50 are the shit! I have more fun on that thing than any other bike I have ridden. If you want to get a 50 the honda is the only way to go period. I cant even get into all of the shit made for this bike. You can spend up to like 12g's on the fu*kin thing. Its out of control. I think you can get an 04 for around $1200 or so. The only things you really need after that is an 88c kit from Two Bros. and some products from Five-0. Heres the link www.fiveoracing.com
Pm me if you want to get some more info.

Yeah the honda XR (or now CRF) 50 is the only way to go. My friends ride the KLX110's. I dont like them. And if the 88cc kit isnt good enough for you someone makes a 124cc kit with a manual clutch. But the 88 kit works just fine. Ill have anothe 50 one day. What everyone think of the video 50 nutz? its sic!

Thats a cool frame but IMO its a wast of money. Just go by a freekin 80 if you want your 50 to sit as high as a 125. Plus when your bike is that high with those 10 inch wheels the balance is all wrong and you just look like a clown on the track.
