I saw Ted in concert in San Diego many moons ago. I believe it was the Wango Tango tour. About 24 years back.

I loved Ted since '76. I knew that he was crazy when I found out that the guy NEVER did drugs or Alcohol, yet he still acts like that on stage! You gotta be kidding me! He's friggin' NUTS!!!! Go Ted Go! You are a true American!:cool:

Aside from being a great guitar player, he has great points of view and he is pretty dang funny most of the time. The nuge rocks.

We saw Ted with ZZ TOP this past summer and in the middle of a song a large Saddam Hussein picture starts coming up from behind the amplifiers, the motor city madman walks over and picks up a stars and stripes painted compound hunting bow and from the other side of the stage with his guitar still slung around
him he puts an arrow through his heart, the crowd went wild, he had a song called "kiss my ass" and it was about all the Hollywood bleeding heart liberals and he would name one and the crowd would all sing the chorus, I saw him on a discussion panel on TV and he really got the "left" upset because he is quick with his facts and intelligent, they got all flustered and he just kept smiling at them and winning the points with the truth,

I grew up in Michigan during Ted's heydeys out there. He still does a New Years Bash concert every year in Detroit. Great to go to for something different!
