My 10,000 Posts
Quit a plateau hitting 10,000 posts, following in River DaveÂ’s footsteps.
Don't want to let you down; I have a lot of fun on the Hot Boat forums. When I signed up a couple years ago, never thought about even having a 100 post. Thought these people are nuts, reading all the post going back and forth. There is a lot of information to be gained from this place if asked right and read through the answers. I am mostly into the back round posting, stay off the target list. Just like in life, why stir it up and create tension. Jordy may not see eye to eye with me, but that is ok to. I think he has a lot of knowledge, which I have asked his advice on in the past. Most of us all have the same goal, take our boats out and have some fun with friends. What can be said about M.F.V. that hasn't been said, we were here for you after the surgery and you rewarded us. Kilrtoy is the new post ***** around here and I enjoy the conversations with him.
One of the best things is the new friends I have enjoyed being around on-line, there are the ones who post everyday and we go back and forth either some BS or poking fun at each other. Most who have been here for a while remember the thread whoÂ’s still up, K3 was a major contributor to that and a good person who is missed, god bless you. R.I.P.
The newest Group is the Pyramid Posse, founded by JetDriver, Bigamist and 75Elim with a growing group each trip out. Through out the last year we have had several outings to Pyramid and Buena Vista and a couple other lakes. Each trip is awesome. Camping out and a weekend of boating with the Posse is hard to explain how much fun it is. Everyone pitchÂ’s in and helps out brings their own special recipe to the table and we have a huge feast. Some of the campfire stories and fish tales still make me laugh when I think of them. We have the usual Hallet Dave, LUVNLIFEÂ’s, Eric455, Big Doug, Jackpunx (keeps up to speed); I know I left some out sorry. From BBQÂ’s at my house to Christmas PartyÂ’s at JerryÂ’s I look forward to many more get together with this group and the Posse Jr. carrying it on for many years.
I have enjoyed a few conversations with River Dave and even met him once, very cool person and seems to have view on most things. Good or bad, he will tell his view and take what ever comes from it.
OP6C was an incredible event I had the opportunity to attend in 2003, the people there could not be nicer. I look forward to this event for years to come. That is where I had my first chance to meet the ScubaÂ’s and many others. My blew up 8 days before we left for Havasu, thanks to SqueezeSpectra who finished the motor in record time and Eric for all the help getting it done. I had many offers from people on the boards for a ride, but I was able to take my own boat.
Thanks everyone on this board for all the laughs and new friends. Thought about naked pictures, but you all know that is not my style so why change?

Rich, enough of the 'sappy stuff' :D, alright. Congrats on the 10,000 that's alot, I don't think I'll ever see myself getting that far, it's fun here, I try not to get into trouble, some of the Raider Hater's can really get me steamin', but I don't want to lose that 'respect' that I may have from some of the people that I do know, so I try to keep my cool and button my lip. It's been fun hangin' with you guys and hopefully we can tack some more trips on to our record this year! You guys have a great Christmas & New Year!! :wink:
