New Car for Christmas?? Yeah Right...

Have you seen those ads where the hubby gets wifey a new Lexus, or the wife buy the old man a Caddy for Christmas?
I could get my wife a new keychain for the old keys.....that'd be funny. New copy of the key and nice new keychain...:D
How likely is that? Would you go out and buy your significant other a $40,000-$80,000 gift? What about those $600 a month payments...the gift that keeps on giving or what????

Friend of mine got his wife a burb a few years ago....so I guess it does happen. But I think I'd be pretty ticked if my wife cashed in the IRA's to get me that XKR Convertible I always wanted.....:confused: :rolleyes:

Funny thing is....the men that go out and buy these 40k-80k cars for their wives, the wifes end up making the monthly payments on them!

When my hubby asked me to marry him, he gave me a really big, perrty ring, with the bill!!!:wink:
