I know this has been done many times before, but where is the best place to go for a boat loan? Any links would be great.
Thanks

When we originally bought our boat, this is who we went through. Great company, best interest rate, there in Florida, but they were really good to work with.

Just purchased a new Essex 24' Valor using Bank of the West. They gave me a 5.5% APR with no problems. This is the second boat loan I've done through them and would not have a problem using them again.

Doesnt the manufacturer have financing OutCold? You should be able to get it through the dealer.

I went with Essex. They are easy to work with and do alot of boat
loans. I did everything by mail. They never even looked at the boat. They even did a refinance on it after the rates went down. I think I am at 5.5%. They are out of Newport. I can send you the info after I wake up tomorrow. Which will probably be some time after noon.

B of A specialty finance here, OutColed. They were real easy to work with and beat everones rate at the time.

Essex Credit (949) 515-5200. Ask for Kim Wendt. Just another option. It doesn't hurt to shop.

I financed my boat through Bank Of The West. No problems and good interest rate (5.25%).

Thats a great rate. Got a number & peron you used?
The builder got me approved with Bof A at a rate I am sure I can beat. I know that is where the builders also make their money, selling the loan.
I applied online with E loans, I will see where they come back. I hate to shop it much more cause I knw each credit inquire dings your credit.
Thanks for the help.
