It's the car collector freak value. Less than 10K miles, and unrestored. Those are worth much more than your average "completedowntobaremetaleveryboltandnut" restorations.
I have a friend that owns a '67 Shelby GT500, 428 Cobra Jet with 20K miles, unrestored and pretty much perfect. It has been appraised at over $120K. Don't ask me why it makes sense, that's just the way the collector market is.....

you can't compare that hemi to a gt 500, i get wood every time i see that car on " gone in 60 seconds"!!
