Yeah, I had a service call years ago with a k/s drian with a bunch of mac and cheese stuck in it. When I pulled the p-trap off and that stuff fell out along with the smell, it took all my mental concentration not to throw up.
The best service customers and the funniest as a matter of fact are the 20-something newly wed women. You get a few a year that had a huge shit during the day and clog the toilet. Even worse, they over flow it and shit runs all over the floor. You show up and they are crying cause they don't want their husband to know they actually shit. That and maybe her shit is bigger than his. When I would show up there, I would have to again conentrate mentally not to laugh.............

I here you.. the funniest one we were on was a toilet stoppage from a woman that lived there.. she stopped up the toilet with a tampon and she looked at us and said it wasn't me and i'm the only one that lives here beside my husband so Mr. Vee looked at her and said" will you please tell your husband to quit flushing his tampons down the toilet. they are not bioderadeable. " bot was she pissed..
i hate to think what was said to him when he got home if she wasn't the one using them..  :D

Ok, one more plumbers story. My cousin was on a service repair. Some 300 lb. dude clogged the toilet and it had been the third time in a month. My cousin said there were calcuim deposits and it was an outdated toilet so he would replace it, as a new one would "flow" better on the flush and "eliminate" the clogging problem.
Well, he installs a nice Western toilet (with the elongated bowl). He is done and the guy says to my cousin, "Wait, I have to test it". My cousin say's "Well, I am going out to my van and will be leaving now".
So Kyle (my cousin) is sitting in the van writing up the ticket and the dude runs out and yells "Kyle, that thing works great!!!!!" at full volume, with all the neighbors out there. He runs up to Kyle and hands him a check for $20. That's right, he was so satisfied with the toilet, he gave Kyle a tip. In fact, Kyle pulled the check out of his wallet and showed it to me when he told me this story. I was laughing so damn hard. I don't think he ever cashed it.

Yeah the money is ok but it's hell on the body when you do it for a living. Never Heard of Stu. Was he an HVAC instructor? I used to pump gas in Scottsdale at 40th Street and Camelback at Paul Windes Exxon and worked with two brothers that went to PIT. I didn't know they went under. But then again, Isn't the Valley Of The Sun Overrun with tradeschools? I worked for a few HVAC-R contractors from 1987-1998 when in my early twenties, through my late 20's doing the rquired attic crawls, humping compressors, and tools across football field sized industrial and commercial sized buildings never even thinking about how it may take a toll on me physically. NOW I'M PAYING FOR IT! I am in pain 24/7 but it's all good. I just suck it up, wake-up every morning, and go to work every day. I got smart in 1998, kissed the real world goodbye, and went to work for a school district. I still work hard everyday but with no bottom line it is alot less cumbersom.

Actually, Stu was an automotive instructor. He also built funnycars, he had a corvette name dream weaver. He came to work at PIT the year I started there. He taught machine shop, he was brilliant and he really wanted to be there. It wasn't a job to him as he didn't need the money. He just wanted to pass along the knowledge. I worked at Coulter Cadillac on 16th st and Camelback for a time and then worked for Tuff sheds until I graduated. Yeah there were a bunch of tech schools out there. I like what I do, but I'm growing tired of the pains. I want to stay in the field, but maybe in a less physical way. I'm just too spoiled at my dealership to really go anywhere for now.

I'm in the same boat as far as I finally got the cushey job, good pay, great benni's, and I'm pretty much "The Man" there. Maybe a little complaceant but hell, I know a few guys that would love to be in my position. Plus I can retire in 20 years, with 25 years of service and i'll only be 56 years old. Not Bad.

Southampton College - started out wanting to be a Marine Biologist but once I started taking biology and chemistry classes I knew it wasn't going to happen. Faced with taking Quantitative Analysis, I had to change my major to business administration.
I wanted to be like Jacques Cousteau and travel the world scuba diving checking out marine life, partying in the Pacific and looking for mermaids. At least I got my scuba certification (twice) and did a lot of partying too.
(Southampton College is in Southampton, NY - out on Long Island, not far from the end of the island which is Montauk).

Looking for a good MBA Program now!!!
Any (good) advise would be much appreciated; considering ASUs new on-line MBA program.
He he. I used to see you guys running around for pt, getting yelled at. I thought "wtf is that?"
I heard it was a good academy. I considerred that academy until I got talked into the fire academy in HB.
I went to Santa Ana College majoring in fire science. As of now I have about 8 bajillion fire science credits. Should be enough for 5 masters degrees, but noooooooo.
