Supercross Tomorrow...who's Going?

Heading out to Anaheim tomorrow...posse's at 34 right now...lots of friends and family....Hopefully get there around 04:00pm for some tailgating....:D

First Im going to ASR in San Deigo and if I get back in time I'll head out to Anaheim. Im definitly ready for some dirt action!

My truck will be a white Supercrew/lifted with DCB sticker on back....Ok, to make it more clear...it will look the same as about 90% of the trucks out there. :D (HBJet said it funnier last year, but I could not remember)

I'm going and i'll be tailgating in the parking lot next to two of my buddies truck's and guess what they are............ White lifted Superduties. Guess you motorcross fan's like the white lifted trucks.
I'll look for you MBrown. We will be there kinda early. They wanna get there like at around 12:30. I should be good and drunk by the time the race starts.:D :eek: :D

That's when the gates/pits probably open...racing don't start till 07:00pm

get their early and watch the practice races. You can sit anywhere in the statium to watch them practice. I always loved sitting right in front of the tripple jumps.

Funny story...first time we ever went was at the Coliseum...sometime around 76...when Marty Tripes won it on a Harley 250Mx...anyway,
My dad thinks the cool thing to do is to get tickets right down by the track...well we are near the first turn which is at the end of the long straight with a jump right before the turn......there is another family sitting about 15 seats over right at the apex of the turn...About 1/2 hour into practice, this guy comes flying over the jump and cannot brake enough in time for the turn.....He launches over the berm and haybales and goes up into the stands and creams this family (they were ok, but had to be carted away)....My dad goes right back out and buys new tickets about 30 rows up...:D

Havent decided if I am going to head out for Supercross or not. Some of my friends who had committed are starting to flake. I was at the last one and it was awesome. The thing that sucks is going from the pit area to the stadium when the pits close. There is a line 45 min long. Everyone entering the stadium gets searched. I would suggest getting there early and cruising through the pits. The rigs are amazing and it is a good time to just see what is out there.

we went to the first anaheim race, track sucked whoops were kidie size race was a route kinda dissapointed about the whole deal.
