I was looking at EBAY today and did a search for our equipment. I found one item, checked into it and found a customers unit which was stolen from a job site not long ago. STOLEN!!! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2589196001&category=25423&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1) West Covina PD called me at 3:45, asked me some questions and shut the guy down. I do this once or twice a month. So far this is my first theft recovery!:D :D

I can't access my watched items page, so I just missed out on something I was waiting to bid on. It sucks for us, but just think how much revenue e-bay loses when it's system goes down. At least they don't use the ***boat server, they would have already gone out of business!!

I love hearing stories like that. Get the worthless thief! Lots of stolen stuff ends up on ebay...

E-bay is working fine for me now. Boy, did I just get a good deal on some job site equipment. It was a real steal J/K :D

I know if you try and access through a short cut you can have trouble with getting to your account or items your are watching. Just something I have found. Not sure what trouble you are having. No worse than being out bid by .20cents with 5 seconds on the clock! Some things make you go HUM. ;)

I agree, sometimes ebay is hit and miss but generally ok for me.
Boy, I sure do notice those 'misses' though!
