We launched out of Windsor on New Years day without too much drama. We were careful but had no problems. The level that day was about 444 feet.
The predictions for this Saturday the 14th are 446 feet.
IMO it shouldnt be a problem launching and Windsor. But it never hurts to be cautious.

I was there on sat and sun last weekend, and the water level is way better then a month ago, you can still only launch from one side at windsor. I launched my DCB 26 and saw an e-ticket launched there 28, and I also saw a 42' fountain launch....

Awsome...thats good news. Sounds like it is rising as we speak.
CAPTROBBY will be happy, he is taking delivery of his new Magic 28 deck this Saturday, and I want a ride! :)
Hopefully its up enough to launch at the Islander, the tow over to Winsor might be to much stress for me to handle!:D

I just drove in from Havasu and here is an update from this (Tues.) morning. The water is up 1 1/2 feet from last week. I backed the Eliminator in the water at the Islander yesterday and just ran it for a while. Launching will be OK, but stay in the center going out. Site 6 should also be good to go by Saturday. We will be showing up Sat. just before the fireworks- see you all then.

I would bet the sandbar is an option for alot of boats.

Is there a website or phone number you can call to find out the water levels other than on here?

Bob,
We will be getting there at about 10 on Sat morning, picking the boat up at storage and probably launching at the Marina. Mando should be there about the same time. Are you going to be at Steamboat?

YES, go to: www.gf.state.az.us/
That site is current daily. As an example, today the level is 444 which is only -6'.

Most of last summer the levels on the lake were from 448' to 449' elevation above sea level. At today's 445.6' the water is only 2-3' down below last year.

Sounds good, just call us on the cell and we will hook up with everyone on the water, maybe in the channel, whatever works.
C Ya then...:)

There's no problems launching at the north ramp at Windsor,
they had 3 lanes working over the weekend and it's better now.
Should continue getting better by the weekend. Pray for the
wind to stop!

I have the 496HO. I gotta break it in this weekend, I've only got 20 minutes or so on it. So far it does well, 62MPH when I went out with the guy that did the rigging.
