That was a cool show. After it was over, I found more info on it. The National Park Service assumed ownership of the wreck, but the military claimed they never gave up ownership of it.

It's true the military never gives up ownership.
Even the choppers they pushed and video taped being pushed into the ocean form the decks of aircraft carriers after the V war are still owned by the U.S.of A. military and you'd better not touch them either.
