Here is the contact ionformation to the lots on the califonia side of Lake Havasu.
Jayne Land & Development Company
Eleanor Buck, President
Telephone 310-454-2124
Fax 310- 573-6236
Email: ebuck@earthlink.net
Louis Richhart's lives in North Estates and can show you lots or answer questions when you go to the land. His cell # is 760-272-9323. His home phone is 760-858-9204
Septic tanks will need to be put in. They are trying to get Edison to place power poles to run electrical to the lots. If we had a good amount of people it would lower the cost. I beleive that the owner might incur this cost though (Mrs. Buck). But she may stand firm on her price.
I got two huge lots together and I was only able to bring her down a little.
She will inform you of all the information regarding the lots and the indians. The indians cannot take the land because it is well of their land. The indians have only complained about right of way, by us getting to our land through theirs. I am told its 23' of encroachment. The indians have never been successful because of a railroad agreement that was passed years ago. Also the indians were never "licensed" as a tribe. Whatever that means?
Overall there is no worries about the indians taking the land. The argument is purely about access. Im not worried one bit.
Dave

Just spoke with Eleanor - what a nice lady. All she wants is $1,350,00 for her 90 lots. She is tired of going back and forth with the indians. There is no lake view, but for 10k-13K what would you expect.

This image show the access to the lots. At the top of the page you see where the roads come into the area of the lots. These are not far from the river. Taking Indian Reservation road.

No, but I dont hink it will be a problem since it is being sold through a title company. "Fidelity" is the name of the title company. I havent got that far yet. She only just recieved my deposit.

it only looks to be about a mile or two max. depending on whats left. I am going up this weekend. Im going to take a video and a digital camera.. I will post when I get back.
MOney Pit.. did u look at ur lots before u purchased??
I talked to them as far as electricity goes..it was in process going reall well installing it. But she said for some reason it started to slow down. She has a meeting with edison this week.
Im thinking that if the indians do win something saying they do have access, the worst case is having to pay an association fee yearly for the right of way..

I am headed up to our place in parker tonight. My buddy is going to city hall today to check out all the forclosures and tax leins. But tommorow I will be going up to check out the property. And also checking to see if the indians land is the only way in to get to those lots. If so..I may feel a bit sketchy about it seeing that they are being greedy pricks!! but I will also take some pics and post as well.
money...are u meeting the guy out there that will show u the property?

Exactly what I was thinking. Be careful everyone. Do your homework, don't just trust the land owner as he/she might be looking to dump their problem on someone else.
