Looking for a site like this one. Need to lurk for a while and gather info. Looking for a new toy about mid summer. Maybe '00 or newer Saleen or '03 blown Cobra. However, the 2005s are bad ass. Anybody know a good site?

hey deez- too bad you wern't in the market sooner, we just sold our 00 corbra in sept when we bought the new boat (i had to sell my harley also)
it had 25000 miles on it with full steeda suspention with long tube headers X pipe ad mufflers (bassani) intake kit and SHM cams with 26lb per hour injectors
i sold it for about $17,500, it was silver with charcol interior and Cobra R rims.

DAMNIT!! Chris, dont tell me now. Would have been interested for shure. I need to repower and sell one of my boats before I buy, according to the wife anyway. Waiting a little while will help fund mods that must happen no matter what I end up with.
MAXIMUS, I can respect that, but something to be said about comfortably driving down the interstate to the strip and running a high 11. then post a respectable lap time on a road course and drive home. For well under 30k.
I could be wrong but I just dont see it with the older iron.

Yea your right... The new technology really does make the old shit dinosaurs! I just can't get into the new body styles, and the fact that there is one at every corner! I own a 71 429CJ Mach 1 That really runs well. 11.1 comp, 4:10 rear end etc... but my moms special addition trans am drives like a dream! :)
