I know there was a thread recently about this but I can't find it:confused:
Anyone do anodizing or have a contact? (LA or OC)
Thanks,
Mirvin;)

You're welcome, Mirv. I'll happily take credit for Rexone's knowledge. :D

Hey Tom, do you know if I can powder coat over old anodization?

I'll know if you can do that after Rexone chimes in with the correct answer. :D :D :D
I don't see why not but you could always phone a powder coat shop.

You CAN powdercoat over ano, but its pretty easy to strip the ano off and get a nice clean surface to coat over. I don't like to PC over previous coatings as a practice because it can lessen the electrical attraction between the part and the powder which poses a problem on multistage coatings. Shoot me a PM if you need more info on available colors etc.
