Too bad is was only about $3.00. Played hard till it ran out. It was an exciting two and a half minutes. :D
Today I played hooky from work and went with Screaming Pete, Roz, Froggy, and Shellshock out to some little warehouse just about 2 miles past bum **** Egypt. They drug me through the rain, mud, hail, sleet and finally, snow. Who've figured they had all that weather in San Diego. It was sunny at my house. ;)
I wanted to see the Frogmeister's project. Maybe when he's rich and famous he'll remember me. Wes has a badass lifted crewcab 4x4 Chevy Pickup with the diesel and a chip I think he said that he got from STV Keith. This truck f-ing hauls ass. I thought my 460 pushed you back in the seat......this diesel would smoke it handily. (and literally :D ).
After a blistering ride up the hills out to his lovely vacation place in the hills, we mudbogged up the road while the snow gently fell. We pulled up to the sprawling manufacturing complex. Luckily his staff had a propane heater blasting so we warmed up quickly. We immediately got to work investigating Wes's project. The new Trident deck boat. Go here to read about that...http://www.***boat.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40828 I wore my finger to the bone on a post over there too. I think that post = about 800 of JetBoat Rich posts.
That Inskeep fella is building one heck of an original and innovative boat out there. I can't wait to see hull #1 when it pops out. We poked around for an hour or so talking about the boat and the rest of you post whores around here. Did you feel your ears burning??? It's a good thing we were there cuz we had so many good ideas....right guys?
Once we had solved all of Wes's problems it was time to get rolling. The snow was still falling as we made our way back up the freeway to the Golden Acorn Casino. Ignoring the "entrance closed" sign, we forced our way inside to get out of the 80 mph winds......:D
A few minutes later and we had some tasty Cheeseburgers and fries set at the table and stuffed our faces. ( I had the fruit cup  ) Apparently the only place to eat within 15 miles is the casino. I thought for a moment I was in the Bluewater. I knew it wasn't Avi cuz the ceiling wasn't as low....As we left, Screaming Pete and I dropped a few quarters in the last one armed bandit near the door ......ding.........ding........ding.....a winner !!! We doubled our money!! If only we had put in a million dollars, we could've won a million dollars. :p Being the wild gamblers we were, we let it ride. Oh well, the Indians are $2.00 richer and I'm not.
We made our way back at a more leisurely pace and eventually got to see the home headquarters of the Trident Marine dynasty. That boy's got some serious hobbies. My ears are still ringing. Wes, be careful you don't damage your hearing!! We traded company T-shirts and I came home with nifty Trident hat and the promise we would do some future work for each other.
I've known Wes for about a year, but the others were known to me only on the boards. It was another meeting of board members that went well. I have yet to have a bad experience meeting ***boaters...Of course I havent me Tom Brown yet...so we'll see.
I had a good day. Good to meet you guys, and thanks Wes for the tour, the stuff, and lunch.

That's a good time - you make it sound like we all missed out on some fun with the boys from the board.
I'm sure Wes is happy you guys solved all his problems. :D
