Took these pics on New Years day. We have since had quite a bit of rain and the lake has come up about 3-4 feet. Still not good, it should be full this time of year. My old dock is the 3rd from the left. Sold it 2 years ago before it went high and dry.
Kali real estate is still going crazy though. That house on the point in the back ground just closed at $4.0 mil

With the snow from this year is it coming back up at all?

Do you have any pix of that one boat way back in the weeds? I saw it on the little ferry boat tour last year on the 4th of July. Oh that reminds me, that was an awesome laser light show you guys had............NOT! What the heck were they thinking? Looked like 4 guys with flashlights.

There are several boats still in their slips. Some over 100 feet from the water. WTF were these people thinking? There are at least 2 pontoon boats back behind the bridge which is about 300 feet from the water. I would assume they are a total loss because they have been concreted into the dry mud with their drives down for 2 years:eek:
As far as the laser show, it was the first 4th of July show I missed since we moved back to Arrowhead 7 years ago. I too heard it sucked. The fireworks shows from the boat were always an unforgettable experience every 4th and we looked forward to them every year. Nothing like being out in the boat on a July evenining with friends and family having some cocktails with the shells bursting directly above.
The laser show was a desperate last minute replacement for the fireworks show which was cancelled by the fire department with virtually no notice in June. With the trees dying and no rain, fireworks were not the best idea.
Sad...its not like it used to be.

This old sunken row boat surfaced in an area that has been underwater for nearly 100 years.

That really sucks. I wish I could send you some of our water/rain. Ouachita River here is getting close to flood stage, 40'. Pool is 22' or so. I can't go boating in fear of the trees and under water logs that are floating down it.:frown:

That is not the whole lake. That is just one bay--Blue Jay Bay. The other pix were taken in the same bay just further back. The lake is 780 acres at full pool (probably 500 now), Elizabeth Lake is 83 acres.
