Allright! Daytona 200 always one of the best shows of the year. Never forget an interview I saw a few years back with Scott Russell discussing pit-lane entrance for the 200. Answer, 6th gear PINNED......then grab a lot of brake and stand it up on the front wheel

I have met Jason and Ben a few times at the races. My buddy races with all those guys. He is not hitting up Daytona because he is expecting a baby. He will run this year though.

Good racing for sures. I just talked with my buddie whom I sponsor he took 10th today in Superstock. Not bad considering the field. Last year was his first year racing ama and he finished top ten in the final standings. Hoping for a better year this year. A few weeks they will all be in Fontana. If you've never been you should definitly check it out.

Deano I was supposed to meet you out there last year when we were there. I also think there is a club race on the weekend of the 13th? Is your buddy going to be out there getting a feel for the track before hand? A lot of times people like Eric bostrom and others show up to get their bikes dialed in on that track and get the feel for her before the real ama race. What is your buddies name?

Yeah he should be here early to get dialed in. Im sure we'll go out a couple of nights for some drinks. We'll have to hookup this time. I'll let you know when I go out to Fontana. His name is John Haner and Hooters picked him up for this year.

With Bostrom's time from yesterday being so impressive, the suspense today was to see who would end up second best. That honor goes to Ben Bostrom, the American Honda CBR1000RR-mounted rider upping his pace today to turn in a 1:47.318.
Yoshimura Suzuki's Mat Mladin also bettered his time from yesterday and his 1:47.639 puts him on the front row for Saturday's 200. That front row will be filled by four-time winner Miguel Duhamel, the French Canadian lapping at 1:47.680.
Row two will be headed by Jake Zemke, the Erion Honda rider joined there by Yoshimura Suzuki's Aaron Yates, privateer Yamaha rider Larry Pegram and Picotte Racing's Pascal Picotte.
Eric Bostrom's time from yesterday not only beat his brother Ben’s pole time of 1:48.376 from last year, the first year with the new chicane configuration, but also topped the 1:47.174 that American Honda’s Nicky Hayden had turned to take the pole in 2002.
