I posted in Hot Spots West, but traffic is a little light over there now.
Looking to plan a trip to Nor Cal this summer. Where are the best places to take my 21 foot jet boat

in Northern California? My brother in law lives in Pollack Pines and we'll be up to see him. I wouldn't mind going to places within a 50-75 miles radius of Pollack Pines. Thanks in advance.

the sacramento river is great place to start....then you can hit the virgin sturgeon for a beverage and food, there's a guest dock right at the restaurant.
folsom lake is about 30 miles from your bro's. but it can be a zoo on the weekend.
there's tahoe if you don't go far from shore(it can get rough)
let me know when you go so i can get a ticket on the double decker tour boat:D :D wait, i'm sorry, that was mandelon's story:D :D

How about the Delta, Lake Berryessa, or Lake Nacimiento?

The lake at Pollock pines is good (I forget the name right now). Just up the road is Ice House Reservior and down the road is Folsom Lake. If the weather is warm and there is no wind Tahoe is a must (30 minutes). I've boated in my 20.5 ft there several times. Check out the Sac River and possibly Rollins Lake off highway 80 (about 45 minutes through the canyon). Have fun and don't get too spolied.

Thats Sly Park Lake. Camp Far West is an hour and a half, Not a big lake but allot goes on there. New Mallones, Don Pedro there are bunch in NorCal. Tahoe is a good place to cruise and watch the fire works on the 4th of July, Actually Berryessa is off the hoocknon that weekend its a mini Havasu.....

Ice House, Sly Park but those lakes immediately around pollock pines are "VERY" small.
Big lakes around, Folsom, Tahoe. Also the Delta.
If you go south, Don Pedro, New Melones.

Don Pedro is a great lake. Put in a Moccasin Point.
