this link will show why it is so important to wear a seat belt,
this is not real graphic but, might scare the hell out of you if you drive without your seat belt.
remember: Seatbelts save Lives!

Always have worn one. I'm sure that we were the only kids in the world back in the 60's that had to wear them in Dad's car. Been in several rollovers, a couple of high speed wipeouts and have walked from all of them. Maybe luck, maybe seat belts. I like to think it's the seat belts. :D

Its total reflex to put it on....for the last 24 yrs or so. Feel something is missing or naked without it now.

My little sister just got jacked up a couple weeks ago by not wearing her seatbelt. Somebody ran a red and her car fliped several times. Her baby in the back seat was belted in and didn't have a scratch. She ended up with a craked skull, several broken vertebra, broken shoulder, and very lucky to be alive.

I have worn them always since I was a kid and the cars only came with lap belts. I am always buckled in.
The company safety guy showed that very clip the other day in a training session. Amazing stuff...

I have allways worn mine. It did save my life 20 years ago when I rolled my Chevy 4X4. Walked away without a scratch. Totaled the Truck.
My question is did this guy live or die? It looks as if his head might have gotten crushed.

I used to only wear it if I saw a cop. About 4 months ago my cousin whom I was extremely close to died in a truck rollover. You guessed it he wasnt wearing his seatbelt and was ejected. The truck rolled on top of him crushing him. Now I always wear a belt and hopefully I never have to find out if it will save my life or not.

In every vehicle collision there are 3 impacts that take place. First, the vehicle impacts an object. Second, your body impacts the vehicle you are in, seatbelt, dash, stearing wheel, etc..... Third, your internal organs impact your body.
