I know what you mean, Rain Is becoming a very big issue in the NHRA. Winternat's postponed for a week!!!

So what happens during a rainout? do they just wait a day or two or just totally reschedule the event?

Depends on how long it rains and on what day(s). The winter nat's in Pomona only got qualifying in on friday and then the rain came. It rained all week so it was posponed for a week. It also depends on the schedule. The week after the winternationals was open so it wasn't a huge deal just a pain in the ass. If the week wasn't open, I don't know what would happen, It could be rescheduled for another date, maybe even canceled, I doubt they would cancel the 3rd biggest race of the year though.

Friend of mine just headed up there today. Hopefully it'll go off. I'd love to make that race. They have the spring one and the fall one....both during our spring and fall refueling outage when I can't get off (work that is :D )

I've been to boat drags but never asphalt drags. I've always wanted to go but it's pretty expensive. I've heard nothing but good things about asphalt drag racing. (Except for when it gets rained out)

Looks like eliminations are probably gonna be rained out and the final eliminations are gonna be rained out too.
Do any of you know who won qualifying or was that rained out?
